Giahnnii Paul Paraku

Giahnnii is a young up-and-coming artist with a flair for colour and balance. We are excited to see where his art progresses to in the future.

“Giahnnii’s” the name, here’s a little about me and my journey with Art.

"Aspiration for one’s discovery has always been an on-going process for me, and it wasn’t until the start of 2024 that I decided to take my Art (specifically painting) more seriously, and began to uncover my own meaning towards the journey of an “Artist". 

I believe that understanding one’s own will, is a truth in itself and can be a catalyst for sharing, empowering, and exchanging knowledge that can be attainable through self-discovery and thought provocation.

You could say that no feat worth doing ever got done through comfort, and one needs to push one’s existence, on a whim fuelled with passion and desire. 

This piece represented here is my first piece of a 10 piece series that will encompass the abstractness of reality and relation to my story and ambitions of a raising “Artist”. I recognise that this journey will be long, exciting and tremendous along with some hiccups of course, however, each piece will uncover some underlying relation between the observer and observed. 

My goal is to set a foundation that can provide exploration of one’s creativity to no limit and most importantly, to have “Fun”. 

My name is “Giahnnii Paul Paraku” and although I could have named this piece “The Foundation”, we are simply calling it “Simplicity” for now…."
